asy Trade Service has been designed by ESI engineers to streamline and enhance your Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) experience with the Trading Partners that you purchase from or sell to throughout North America. The role Easy-Trade® plays in the world of electronic commerce is that of a service provider.
Easy-Trade® Service is transformation, communication, audit and control. Our service will convert formats between your company and your trading partners’ formats; ensure the data is sent/received and provide your company a complete audit trail for your invoice transactions during the payment process and archive transactions for future use. Incoming Purchase Orders will be easy to read, print or store on a PC. Easy-Trade® makes EDI simple and affordable.

Inbound Documents:
Easy-Trade® has been configured to support many types of business documents from your Trading Partners, brokers, banks and other external organizations. ESI will arrange to receive EDI formatted documents such as the Purchase Orders (850) and Change Orders (860) documents from your Trading Partners, convert them to a human readable format, and e-mail them to you. ESI will return a Functional Acknowledgement (997) to the Trading Partner if required, to confirm receipt.

Outgoing Documents:
ESI will provide your company a preformatted Easy-Trade® Excel Spreadsheet to record and send to ESI via e-mail for invoicing your Trading Partners. Upon receipt of your e-mailed Easy-Trade® spreadsheet ESI will:
Edit the spreadsheet for errors. If we find any errors, ESI will return the spreadsheet to you noting errors in data content, or missing critical data that requires reprocessing. Reprocessing will cause charges to be assessed each time the document is reprocessed by ESI.
Return an e-mail status response to you confirming receipt of your data. You must insure that you receive a status response for each e-mail you send, as ESI cannot be responsible for e-mails that are not received and confirmed.
Convert the spreadsheet into an EDI 810 (invoice document) and transmit it to your Trading Partner in a timely manner.
Send you a text e-mail acknowledging that your Trading Partner has received your invoice.

Document Archiving:
ESI will maintain a document archive and audit trail for all documents exchanged between you and your Trading Partner for a period of 30 days at no additional charge. The archive program will be set up at time of registration and configured specifically for your company’s documents, as a “rolling forward” 30 day cycle. Documents can be reprocessed (upon written notice from the party registered in our database) either back to your company or on to your Trading Partner. Your documents are recorded and protected as an extra service by ESI for those unexpected emergencies.

Deposit Accounts:
Easy-Trade® has revolutionized the EDI market with its pay-as-you-go payment process. A deposit is collected prior to implementation, based on your estimated monthly document volume plus a one-time registration fee. As you use the Easy-Trade Service, we will automatically deduct the transaction fees from your Deposit Account and e-mail you a monthly statement showing the balance. When your account reaches a specified minimum balance, we will request an additional deposit.

Affordable Easy-Trade® Fees.
Starting Easy-Trade® Service could not be easier: Just call 800-404-9182 ext 20, request the Easy-Trade® Service and we will e-mail you the necessary forms. It takes just minutes to fill out the registration form. Once complete, mail in your form along with your check. ESI will then register and set up your Easy-Trade account.
Easy-Trade® is the preffered service provider for CVS Pharmacy Direct Store Delivery Vendors.
